"There Is A Way Out of the Crisis"

This is a crucial time in the line of march of the united front of the working class and its allies, in the context of the national and international situation. In this context, the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) is holding seminar on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of RCPB(ML) and the 15th anniversary of the launch of its general line for this period, "There Is a Way Out of the Crisis". This seminar addresses the general line of RCPB(ML) in a number of papers, in order to facilitate discussion on the tasks facing the Party, the working class and the people, and on the way forward in participating in the political life of the country.

It is to be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009, in London, and everyone interested is encouraged to contact the Party in order to receive further details.

In this week leading up to the seminar, WDIE is posting documents of the Party so that the participants in the event can study and prepare. Today we are posting the text of "There Is a Way Out of the Crisis".

The Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) held an important celebration on March 19, 1994, in the Conway Hall, London, marking the fifteenth anniversary of its founding. The important draft document, "There Is a Way Out of the Crisis", was released on that occasion by the Central Committee of RCPB(ML) for discussion.

The 3rd Congress of RCPB(ML), held in March 1999, resolved to ratify the draft document and adopt it as the general line of the Party. The Congress affirmed that it represents the general line of the Party forged in the conditions of the retreat of revolution to chart the way out of the crisis to a new socialist society.
